Is Shantel VanSanten Pregnant In 2022 With Husband Victor Webster?
Fans believed that Shantel VanSanten was pregnant and speculated that she had got a baby bump, which might be due to the angle of the photos taken. However, another actress in the FBI series Missy was pregnant.
Shantel was well-known to television viewers for her roles on the CW shows One Tree Hill and The Flash. She can also be seen in the Apple TV+ drama For All Mankind.
Missy Peregrym was supposed to return from her pregnancy in time for Season 5. However, Peregrym confirmed in a recent post that she would not return until September, which means Maggie would be absent from the show until at least midseason.
As a result, VanSanten’s tenure on the show has been extended, as Nina will still be working when Season 5 begins.
The actress has settled in and has shared numerous photos from the set. VanSanten spoke with TV Line about how long she will play Nina and whether the role will become a regular.
“The plan was always to do these ten episodes while [Missy] had her baby and recovered, and then she’d come back.”
When asked if Nina would stay or return in the future, she said, “I think the door is open, and I’m excited to see where that might lead.”
VanSanten is juggling multiple roles now that For All Mankind has been renewed for a fourth season. However, if her schedule allows, she may be able to return as Nina in a recurring role.
In any case, the actress appears pleased that what was supposed to be a small role has grown into a larger one as FBI prepares to kick off Season 5 with Nina strutting her stuff. Season 5 of FBI premieres on CBS on Tuesday, September 20 at 8/7c.
