Deputies from Oakland County were dispatched to Oxford High School at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 30) to investigate allegations of shooting.

Prosecutors Opinion About The Parents’ Involvement
After the events of Nov. 30, when investigators believe their 15-year-old son, Ethan, fatally shot four individuals, all classmates, and wounded seven others, the Crumbleys were each charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Prosecutors claimed James Crumbley bought the gun used in the incident, a Sig Sauer 9 mm handgun, on Black Friday as an early Christmas gift for his son at a news conference on Friday.
According to prosecutors, the Crumbleys kept the revolver unlocked in a drawer in their bedroom, a claim that defence counsel challenged on Saturday.

Prosecutors claimed school officials voiced concerns about Ethan Crumbley’s behaviour to his parents twice after the purchase but before the shooting, including in a meeting with them earlier that Tuesday.
According to authorities, the Crumbleys refused to take their kid home and did not question him about the pistol or alert the school that they had acquired one.
