Rumors say that Emily is Leaving Home And Away, the prolonged ongoing Australian Soap opera. So are the stories true?
Emily Symons is well recognized for her dominance in the Australian and British soap opera scenes.
In 1989, she landed the part of Marilyn Chambers in Home and Away before going to Emmerdale as Louise Appleton.
In 2007, she also appeared on the British television show Dancing on Ice. In 2010, she returned to Australia to reprise her Marilyn role in Home and Away.
Is Emily Symons Leaving Home And Away?
The rumor is false as no information about Emily Symons leaving the show has been released until the second.
However, her character in the show is going through some unorthodox changes.
Emily, who has portrayed Marilyn on and off since 1989, told TV Week that she was “shocked” when she first discovered her character’s transformation due to organophosphate poisoning.
This very different Marilyn “had to be pulled out” of Emily, who said that playing a cruel Marilyn was the most challenging thing she’d ever had to do on the program.
Emily, who previously portrayed Louise Appleton in Emmerdale, admits apologizing to her co-stars after delivering harsh comments like Marilyn.
She continued by saying that she is “a little apprehensive” about how fans would respond to Marilyn’s rapid attitude shift.

Meet Emily Symon Husband/ Partner
As of the moment, Emily Sumon is single. However, there is much to speak to past relationships.
For two years, Symons was married to Lorenzo Smith, a son of Viscount Hambleden and a descendant of English stationery billionaire W.H. Smith. In an interview, Symons stated that her desire for children and the subsequent cycles of IVF ‘killed’ the marriage.
She was engaged to Matt Le Tissier, a footballer. She was in a relationship with her Emmerdale co-star Matt Healy, who portrayed Matthew King. They split up right before she competed on “Dancing on Ice.”
She later dated radio executive Paul Jackson for four years until splitting up in 2016.
Details about Emily Symon Baby
Emily is the mother of a baby boy, Henry, born on August 3, 2015. He is shared by her and her ex-boyfriend Paul.
The Australian thought she wouldn’t have a child because she was 45 years old when her son was born, but after undergoing IVF, she gave birth to him at 38 weeks.
She claims it took her many years of trying to have a kid and that she didn’t mind that he was delivered through cesarean section because he was healthy.
