Did John McAfee Commit Murder Or Suicide?
John McAfee, the founder of the antivirus software company McAfee, was found dead in his cell in Spain, apparently by suicide, just hours after Spain’s highest court approved his extradition to the United States.
He was wanted on criminal accusations linked to taxes, with a possible sentence of 30 years in prison. The businessman was detained just one day after a US indictment for alleged tax cheating was made public.
McAfee was charged with tax evasion by Tennessee prosecutors after he failed to record revenue from promoting cryptocurrencies while working as a consultant, as well as income from speaking engagements and selling the rights to his life narrative for a documentary.
