Ford was ranked first among players in U Sports and fourth overall in the Canadian Football League’s Amateur Scouting Bureau’s final rankings of players eligible for the 2022 CFL Draft.

Quarterback Tre Ford Collarbone Injury Update- Is He Playing Tonight?

Tre Ford, the Edmonton Elks’ intriguing young quarterback, will be sidelined for at minimum a few weeks after suffering a collar bone injury during the team’s humiliating loss to the Calgary Stampeders.

TSN’s Farhan Lalji said Tre Ford is anticipated to be absent for a few weeks due to a collarbone injury. It has not yet been decided to add him to the injury list for six games, but it seems likely.

Kai Locksley, his teammate, is healthy and may start at quarterback for Elks in the upcoming game.

Before getting hurt, Ford had completed a highlight-reel 46-yard pass on two of three attempts for 52 yards. American Nick Arbuckle, who had lost his starting position to Ford in Week 4, took his spot.

The Canadian completed 15 of 26 throws for 159 yards, one touchdown, and one interception as he guided the Elks to a close victory. Additionally, he ran the ball six times for 61 yards.
