There is news that Deep Sidhu met a car accident. The Punjab actor died near the Singhu border, the center of last year’s farmer protests. He was the prime suspect in last year’s Republic Day violence.
Police sources declared that he died in a road accident on Tuesday, 15th February 2022. He was facing a criminal trial for engineering the violence that ensued at the Red Fort on Republic Day last year.
The accident happened around 8:30 pm. He was gravely wounded and died on the way to the hospital. His body’s been sent to the Sonepat Civil Hospital for autopsy, as per police sources.
As per Delhi Police, they have electronic evidence to show that Sidhu entered the Red Fort with supporters carrying lathis and flags and provoked the violence. He was in jail for over two months and was released on bail on April 17.
