Prior to his car enthusiast fame, Koker was part of the band Count’s 77, which also included guitarist Jony Zito, guitarist Stoney Curtis, bassist Barry Barnes and keyboardist Tommy Paris. As the band’s lead singer, Koker rose to prominence after their first album and tours of the United States.
