The Businessman Shared Family With Two Wives
As reported by the Daily Mail, Rapoport is alleged to have two wives, Irina being the first and Alena the second.
Although the exact date of his marriage to his relationship with his first wife, Irina, is uncertain, their divorce occurred in 2016.
After divorcing his first wife, he sold their home to the Trumps in December of that same year for $5.5 million and moved to Kyiv, where he established a new investment company and reentered politics.
Businessman Rapoport, who operated the renowned Soho Rooms club in Moscow, resided in Washington, DC, with his first wife, Irina, from 2012 until 2016.
His second wife, Ukrainian virologist Alena, and their small daughter had been residing in Kyiv with him up until this year. He dispatched them to Denmark after the outbreak in February to bring them over before returning to the U.S.
Similarly, Alena claimed that Rapoport moved his family abroad and that he was seeking to have them brought over while still spending time in the U.S.

His widow Alena vehemently denied that he committed suicide, telling a Russian news outlet that “there were no notes, no suicide.”
She refuted journalist Yunia Pugacheva that Rapoport had released his dog into a neighboring park. She left behind a suicide note with cash after parting ways with Alena earlier and being seen in London.
Alena stated that investigations were being conducted but did not specify a specific death or alternate cause of death for her spouse.
“We had scheduled a meeting since he had plans. Dan took us out of Kyiv and returned to serve his nation afterward. The following time we were to meet was in the USA.
Latvian-Born Millionaire Net Worth Before Death
Before his death, Dan’s net worth was reported to be in the millions. However, his wealth and value figures are still under review.
Before launching the renowned Soho Rooms in Moscow in 2007, Rapoport, born in Riga, Latvia, when the nation was still a part of the Soviet Union, worked at several Russian financial institutions in the late 1990s early 2000s.
Rapoport was associated with the now-incarcerated Kremlin opponent Alexei Navalny, whom he is alleged to have backed when Russia’s opposition gained power after Putin’s return to the Russian presidency in 2012.
