US Rep. Carlos Gimenez’s son and Miami Dade’s lobbyist Carlos Gimenez Jr have been booked and arrested for slapping Miami Commissioner Alex Diaz De La Portilla.
The arrest first came from the Coral Gables officer assigned to the commissioner who handcuffed Carlos after his assault on Alex Diaz and waited till the arrival of the police department.
Although the clear intention is missing and police are still investigating the sheer motive of such unjustified actions, Miami Commissioner had already called out Carlos Jr as a pure coward.
Carlos Giminez Jr reportedly struck Alex Diaz in his head from behind, although the intensity of the attack was later addressed as being just a mere hand flick.
He came from behind and hit a swinging shot at Alex Diaz at the Morton’s Steakhouse of Coral Gables.
The police department and assault lead investigating team are still pursuing the footage from the restaurant’s surveillance camera and from the initial reports from eyewitnesses available at the site.
