Is Black Adam an Anti-hero or villain?

Black Adam was the model of heroism in the early days of DCU until he was corrupted by blaze (a red skinned demoness with a horn and the daughter of shazam). Black Adam adopts character and concept from Shazam and the Justice society of america for the big screen. This film focuses on the character more recent history.

Although Black adam is best known as a supervillain from the movie Shazam, the recent DC comics storylines have created confusion among fans about the character. He does roll on both sides, it really depends on the story and what benefits him. His villainous character has swerved towards more being of an anti-villain. He is a central character of the film who lacks conventional heroic attributes. The reason why he is labeled to be an anti-hero is because of his patriot seek for power to protect his people and the nation of Kahndaq from oppression.

His continuity of actions and ways makes him more of an anti-hero. As a member of the injustice society, Adam betrayed that group and joined the justice society of America. This led him to become an anti-hero and one of the most popular characters in DC Extended Universe. From the beginning of his tenure as kahndaq’s leader, he’s been a problem for the international community. He is an anti-heroic personality and it fits the character very well. He switches his actions back and forth on the good and evil spectrum, but black Adam’s greatest successes were as an anti-hero.

Black Adam is one of the most surprising characters that DC has succeeded in developing as a desirable one. In fact, DC is great at making surprising characters popular. DC has a sensational root of characters, and black adam getting a push was a shock to longtime Dc fans. Black A dam never reached much popularity as a villain before he get to debut on the big screen with his solo movie named his own. he was only known to shazam fans, apart from that he was just a background character. becoming an anti-hero was what made him popular among the fans. Black Adam as an anti-hero is exactly what most fans needed.

Black Adam Powers

Black Adam has appeared to be a remarkably powerful character in DCEU. As he was gifted superpowers by six Egyptian-originated gods Shu, Horus, Amon, Zehuti, Aton, and Mehen; he has become one of unbeatable one. There is no doubt about his powers since he is one of the strongest villains in the DC universe.

He’s been able to take on and even get the upper hand on some of the most powerful heroes in the DC universe. One of which is his arch-enemy Shazam. Being the main villain for Shazam the two have fought more times than could be counted. of course, Shazam always finds a way to win because he is a hero but that does not question the power of Black Adam.

It does not stop there, he also faced superman and has played pretty well at it. he has taken punches from superman and jumped right back up like it was no big deal. being able to take a punch of Superman who in past has been known to destroy an entire planet with a single punch is extremely impressive.

Six Powers from Gods

1. Horus :

Black Adam has got the power of superhero speed from Horus; the same god gave him his ability to fly. Not just fly, but he can float in the air, and even race into space simply ignoring gravity.

2. Zehuti :

He has got the wisdom of Zehuti, which means he is not just powerful by strength but also by his intellect. Since Zehuti is the Egyptian god of learning, he has got the ability to learn things quicker.

3. Shu :

The stamina of Shu, the Egyptian god of the air and light, allows him to fight longer and survive points. he can hold his life on without even eating or drinking. He can continuously fight his battle without taking any rest.

4. Mehen :

Black Adam has the courage of  Mehen. this courage does not just denote his bravery of him but both his physical and psychological strength. He is bulletproof and as shown in the trailer he can resist the explosion of the missile. this power also helps him in healing attributes in case he is injured.

5. Amun :

Amun, the king of Egyptian gods blessed him with his strength to go toe to toe this made his hand to hand combat more than strong.

6. Aten :
