The Last Samurai actor said as per Metro 50, “Parkinson’s has taken a lot from me. I can’t play the banjo anymore. It’s just noise. I can’t yodel anymore. I used to like yodeling.”
He went on: “I’m unable to cigar smoke. More and more of what I appreciate is being taken away as it progresses. And it hurts a little. I have to behave in a certain way, so my children don’t think I’m a dead loss. I want them to think, ‘He does well with what he’s got.'”
In addition, he no longer travels, but the experienced comic offers admirers and a new TV show his pearls of wisdom. Billy is leading a quiet life and isn’t talking about it.
