Born February 28, 1987 in Havana, Cuba to Cuban-American parents, Acosta grew up in the Caribbean with his younger brother Jason before the family moved to Queens, New York and settled there.
Anabelle Acosta attended Julliard School, where she studied theater and dance. After graduating, she stayed in New York to pursue a career in acting and modeling. She was more successful in the modeling department and booked several promotional gigs. Acting roles were hard to come by, but she continued to audition until she was cast as a bartender in the film The Next Hit . The role was not much, but it was a long-awaited start to her career.
