Amy Whittaker, the journalist, is a fictional character and is a real person. She is played beautifully by Valene Kane.
Amy Whittaker is one of the most loved characters from the 2018 mystery movie ‘Profile’. It is directed and produced by a Russian director Timur Bekmambetov. The critically acclaimed movie was made on a budget of 2.3 million USD and was first released in Russia.
Even after 2 years, people are still curious to know about its characters and the events. It is definitely a true story but is manipulated to turn into a movie where names are altered, locations are changed.
The tragic ending makes audiences hook to the story and find who the journalist was; someone who could risk her life to bring a change in society.
Based on Anna Érelle’s biographic book, In the Skin of a Jihadist, Profile is a passable horror movie that brings some digital flair to the genre. Read @PatrickGibbs20’s review here: https://t.co/lzuBCaxPtv pic.twitter.com/N9h8j8TqcN

Is Amy Whittaker Journalist A Real Person?
Yes, Amy Whittaker is a real person featured in the movie ‘Profile’. The name is definitely altered to prevent mishaps. Further, the identity of the courageous woman is kept private by the movie team, and rightly so.
She is shown so brave that young women can idealize her in today’s times. It is quite fascinating that there can be a woman who can change her identity and actually mess with the most powerful group in the world, ISIS.
It is quite understandable that people want to know her, learn about her life but all in vain. Neither the writer of the book has revealed any pointer regarding Amy’s identity, nor has the ‘Profile team. So, here the audiences have to stay in darkness.
Journalist Amy Whittaker Age And Wikipedia
Amy Whittaker has been shown as a 26-year-old woman from Britain in the movie. She had recently finished covering a piece related to ISIS where young European girls are manipulated and converted into Islam.

On an obvious note, the real Amy Whittaker is not available on Wikipedia but the fictional character has got its place on the platform.
