Aggie Ngwenya-Meintjies from 7de Laan has not provided official news on leaving the show. The renowned South African Actress has been playing the role since 2010. The fans loved the character, which later converted her to be a regular cast in many seasons.

Aggie’s character has not been provided with any update after her long-distance marriage partner Vince Meintjies exited the African Soapie 7de Laan. He left the show last year in March. 

When asked why he was leaving the part of beloved chef Vince Meintijes, who had been on the program for 15 years, the actor said he needed a new experience that would be demanding and different from what he had been doing long.

According to News24, Aggie, Aka Mimi, has openly discussed her struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts and attempts. In addition, she said, she was in decline because of her childhood trauma. 

She talked about being sexually assaulted, and those horrifying experiences on the YouTube show Unpacked with Relebogile Mabotja and how keeping the secret for so long made her miserable.

However, she mentioned being much better these days. She added it is much more about your mindset. She said she used to think she was not worthy and good enough, which led her down into a dark hole.
