On 8th July 2008, one of the supporters of David Bunmi, named Jess accused him viaTwitter.
Jess was 16 years old back when she met Bunmi at Wireless Festival. Jess took the Twitter platform to share two photos of her with Bunmi.
It shows that manner that Bunmi took advantage of the situation and touched a teenage girl in an appropriate manner without her consent.
She came out to the public only after 12 months of the incident. She claims her only reason to reveal this to the public was that she wanted an apology from her accuser. But she has been openly denied so. Later that day, Bunmi reshared the story with laughing emojis and denied that he touched her without her consent.
People wanted Bunmi to apology regardless of whether there was consent or not. It is regarded as an inappropriate action to touch a minor wrongfully in any way. However, there are people who believe that Jess brought out the incident after so long to gain public attention.
