“Irreverent” is an Australian drama television miniseries that recounts the criminal Paulo Keegan’s (Donnell) story. After leaving America, he relocates to Far North Queensland, Australia, where he builds a tiny reef community.
In an attempt to change his perspective from leading a life of crime to serving others, Paulo adopts the Reverend Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd as his new name.
A little coastal village welcomes Mack when he arrives there. He identifies those who are seeking connection and are in search of a leader. Mack enjoys his new life, but the Chicago mob is behind him. He must maintain his act if he wants to remain undiscovered.
Each episode will center on a challenge Mack must overcome as he tries to figure out how to save enough money to purchase a new identity and get his life back on track. The new series has cliffhangers, action, and suspense.
