Inside The Murder Story Of Wife Brandi Peters By Husband Henry Segura Was Found Guilty Of Other Three Murders

A six-person jury deliberated for roughly four hours before convicting Henry Segura of the brutal quadruple murder of his extramarital wife and her three kids.

When Brandi Peters and her three children were found brutally murdered in their Saddle Creek Run home, authorities in Tallahassee, Florida, were terrified.

Even the most hardened of police officers were rattled by the crime of unspeakable savagery, as the community struggled to understand why anyone would harm a loving mother and three innocent children.

‘Where Murder Lies: Monster of Deception,’ a documentary on Investigation Discovery, examines the horrible murder and demonstrates how an efficient police investigation unraveled a devious conspiracy motivated by hatred.

Why Did Henry Segura Murder Wife Brandi Peters?

According to Prosecutor, Henry Segura killed the family in retaliation for owing Brandi Peters $20,000 in overdue child support for JaVonte.

They argued about Segura’s ability to pay in the weeks preceding up to the murders, and he received letters from the state’s Department of Revenue attempting to enroll him in the child support system.

On the day after the deaths were discovered at Peters’ home on Nov. 20, 2010, he lied to Tallahassee Police several times. They obtained Henry’s phone records in the process and discovered that he was present in Brandi’s home at the time of her murder.

Brandi’s blood, on the other hand, was too powerful to allow the extraction of foreign DNA from the crime scene, according to the episode.

Henry Segura Verdict Charges Explored

Henry Segura entered a not guilty plea after being brought before the court. His first trial, in 2017, ended in a stalemate and was declared a mistrial.

Although there were rumors that the quadruple murderer was the worker of a drug cartel before Henry’s second trial, he was found guilty of four first-degree murder charges.

He was condemned to four life terms without the possibility of release as a result of his actions. As a result, Henry remains incarcerated at the Hardee Correctional Institution in Hardee County, Florida, despite the fact that he has no possibility of being released.

Henry Segura Killed Twins And Son JaVonte Segura

Henry Segura had been in prison for nearly 3,000 days when he was finally released on the 9th anniversary of the killings of Brandi Peters, her twin 6-year-old children Tamiyah and Taniyah Peters, and the couple’s own 3-year-old son JaVonte Segura.

At their Saddle Creek Run home, Peters and Tamiyah were shot. The other two youngsters perished after being left in a partially filled bathtub.

Brandi was hit on the head with a large, blunt object, resulting in a skull fracture, according to an autopsy.
