Image Quality or Performance Madden 23

Image Quality or Performance Madden 23 is in the range of 60 to 120 frames per second. The quality depends on the console type you are in.

Madden NFL 23 marked the newest iteration of Fieldsense technology through the introduction of new control mechanics often termed as Skill Based Passing, 360-degree cuts, Hit Everything, WR vs. DB Battles, etc.

With a motive of achieving more realistic and convincing humanified moments and appearances during games and their replays, EA has made several upgrades in terms of graphics and performances.

The developer seems to have stayed focused on improving the quality of the simulation and tried their best to provide cleaner and more realistic animation shifts in special times such as spin, turns, and when the players get tackled.

Though EA has done immense work in increasing the motion accuracy in the gameplay, there are still a lot of areas of improvement that they could work on.

Many users have noticed bad pixelated graphics in the players’ pants during the game as well as the coaches’s shirts. The options to improve one’s view of the play also differ as per the platform that the individual is using.

Madden 23 Performance Vs Image Quality

Selecting the performance will provide you highest possible frame rate while the quality mode is responsible for smoothness in the play.

If you are the one who chooses online modes over offline then the performance option will best fit you. All Madden Ultimate Team and Head-To-Head Lovers should choose this mode over the IMG quality.

This also depends upon the type of console you decide to play the game. Xbox Series X players definitely should go with the Perf option. Although it holds mild bumpy resolutions, the choice is not bad. The FPS of this module across consoles are:

  • 120 FPS (1440 p) – Xbox X
  • 60 FPS (1440p) – Replays and Cutscenes
  • 60 FPS (1440p) – PlayStation 5
  • 60 FPS (1440p) – Replays and Cutscenes

Frame rates are responsible for determining the quick movements of images on the screen. The higher the rate lower the chances of laggy visuals and stoppage on the screen during the play.

Madden 23 Image Quality

This module is primarily responsible for the highest level of graphics quality. The selection comes by default in the system. You would have to change to go with another.

This attribute offers you a full-glory view of the game. It is better to go with this choice if you are on PlayStation 5. If you are one of those solo hustlers, this is the right selection for you.

The difference between these two is nearly negligible and can only be noticed with a particular platform as you would have to choose between 120FPS with certain bumps and lags and 60FPS with maximum graphical superiority.

The frame rates for the attribute are given below:

  • 60 FPS (4K) – Xbox X
  • 30 FPS (4K) – Replays and Cutscenes
  • 60 FPS (4K) – PlayStation 5
  • 30 FPS (4K) – Replays and Cutscenes

Madden 23 Vs Madden 24 Graphics

Madden 24 graphics have included more realistic players and updates in visuals compared to Madd 23. The latest game features a little enhancement.

New animations, as well as mechanics, have added up to make the movements more realistic and improve the overall accuracy of motion.

The new updates in features include a momentum system and diverse tackle types. Not the quantum leap but a small step up has seriously been given to the graphics. The shaders are updated, and the faces are more detailed while the movements are fluid and smooth.

Detailed work has been done on players’ shoulder pads making them look more realistic. The graphical fidelity has seen some noticeable changes so far.

A more real-to-life celebration touch has been given where the players will actually do what the footballers do in their real game. Reaction between the teammates as well as gloating features have been added.

Image Quality or Performance In Madden 24?

In Madd 24, the UTM or H-T-H player should definitely look for the Perf option whereas the single-player users should move to IMG selection for high graphics.

The functions of both are highly similar to the previous version of the game. The major difference is that the current series focuses more on game modules rather than the console or platform.

The IMG quality option is primarily focused on keeping the maximum level of resolution and provides you with top-standard visual quality and highly detailed images and movements but you get to notice a little frame jets or lags.

The other one is mainly dedicated to giving the users as many frame rates as possible per second. The Xbox Series X/S users are recommended to go with this one as it has 120 FPS with the console.

Madden 24 PC Performance Issues

Performance issues in Madden 24 include Laggy Framerates, Freezing, Crashing, and Stuttering. These issues occur when making a snap or playing online mode.

The users experience slow motion of the gameplay because of the lags. Many across the web have suggested going with some adjustments in the graphic settings.

The problem of FPS drop was reported by players during their games online. The fixes as per the EA Community Managers are:

  • Adjust your frame rates to a specific number. For example 60 FPS or 120 FPS (if it is ‘Uncapped’).
  • Make sure the game is running on the full-screen under the visual setting menu.

Other Important Tips To Count On

  1. Ensure that any kind of camera blur option is turned off.
  2. Lens Flare and Bloom should be toggled off.
  3. Try reducing crowd quality to medium.
  4. Choose Ultimate Performance in the Power Plan.

The developers are still working on solving other issues such as the Menu lag. For further lags and glitches or other ‘not-working problems and fixes’, you can report your problem with the help of the Reddit community.

How To Change The Camera Angle In Madden 23?

The position of the camera in Madden 23 can be changed by using a D-pad. It allows you to make adjustments to the default in-game camera.

This generally comes with four options for the offensive and five for the defensive. Here are the steps to change the view & angle:

  • For the lowest and closest view behind the QB, press the upward button.
  • For the angeled back view toward the quarterback from the right side of the defensive line, click Up again.
  • For the higher, wider view click the down button.
  • Again for the widest and highest view, go down.
  • Down again for the side-angle view.

Note that, when the ball is snapped, the camera will be locked in the current position and you can only make changes to it either before the play starts, after it ends, or after each team breaks the huddle.

To turn off the camera toggle option in Madd 23, follow the following steps:

  • Reach to the ‘Option’ Tab.
  • Click on ‘settings’.
  • Choose ‘Visual Feedback’.
  • Go to ‘Cameras’
  • Select ‘Camera Toggle on/off’.

The default camera setting for the offense is Standard, Wide, All-22, Broadcast, and Zoom. Meanwhile, the Defense has Standard, Wide, All-22, Broadcast, Defensive Perspective, and Zoom.

To Change the Camera angle in Madden 24

  1. Press the D-Pad Up and Down on the console with the controller.
  2. On PC, press Page Up and Page Down using mouse or keyboard.

If you wish to change it from the settings, then:

  • Choose the ‘Setting’ option.
  • Click on ‘Visual Feedback’.
  • Select ‘Cameras’.
  • Go to the ‘Offense and Defense camera setting’ options.

The other view and angle adjustment ways are similar to those mentioned above in Madd 23. Make sure you know that you cannot cycle through camera angles in both series. You will be compelled to scroll all the way up and down repeatedly to make the cycle.
