אליהו (איליה גריגורייביץ) אוֹרְשַנְסקי (ברוסית: Илья Григорьевич Оршанский;‏ 1846 – 1875) היה משפטן, עיתונאי, פובליציסט, סופר והיסטוריון יהודי-רוסי, חוקר ההיסטוריה של עם ישראל.

את מחקריו כתב ברוסית. כמה ממאמריו נכתבו בעיתון היהודי-רוסי “ראזסווייט”, וכונסו לימים בקובץ אחד.

נולד ביקטרינוסלב, אוקראינה ובנעוריו התפרסם בקרב הקהילה היהודית בעירו כעילוי. חרף זאת, לא המשיך ללמוד בישיבה, ותחת זאת הלך ללמוד משפטים באוניברסיטאות חארקוב ואודסה.

אורשנסקי נחשב בין ההיסטוריונים המוקדמים של התנועה החסידית.

אחיו, יצחק (איסאק) אורשנסקי, היה פרופסור לפסיכיאטריה באוניברסיטת חארקוב, ומאנשי העיתון היהודי-רוסי “ראזסווייט”.
