Idina Menzel is an American actress cum singer, born on May 30, 1971.

Menzel is famous for her work in Broadway musicals and has garnered international recognition in stage, film and music.

Menzel made her Broadway debut in the rock musical Rent, after which she went on to feature in several stage and Off-Broadway productions, such as Wicked, and If/Then.

In 2007,  she played a non-singing role in Disney’s musical fantasy Enchanted (2007), and went on to starr in the popular musical TV series Glee.

Menzel is the voice behind the character Elsa in the Disney animation film Frozen.
