The drop tower was one of the world’s largest freestanding drop towers which is 430 ft tall. The construction was finished three months ago. Thus, people are lashing up at the contractor responsible for building it and claiming that the incident could have been prevented.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a teenager died after falling while riding a drop tower attraction in the Orlando region. Following the incident, 911 were immediately called, and many law enforcement officials, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched, writes FOX News.
While the fatality investigation is still ongoing, “witnesses on scene stated that someone had fallen from the ride,” according to the sheriff’s office.
As mentioned by authorities, the victim was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital and died due to his injuries. The sales officer of the Slingshot Group of Companies, the owner and operator of the ride, started that their heart goes out to the victim and his family.
They have not commented further on the matter.
