Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting
Iceland
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Icelander Visa.
- Completely filled visa application form with sincerity.
- Two recent passport photographs size (35mm x 45mm) must be attached showing the whole-face captured with a light background.
- Your passport and copies of your previous visas, valid for at least 3 months beyond return date are required. Your passport must have at least two blank pages.
- Travel health insurance.
- A cover letter stating the purpose of your travel to Iceland and itinerary
- Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Iceland
- Hotel reservation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Iceland.
- Proof of civil status (marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable)
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Iceland.
- Payment of visa fee.

Requirements
- This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling for a business purpose in Iceland.
- A valid passport with a minimum of six months ahead of your stay in Iceland.
- Hotel reservation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Iceland.
- Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Iceland
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Iceland.
- A cover letter stating the purpose of your travel to Iceland.
- Travel health insurance confirmation of minimum 30,000 € coverage within Iceland and the entire Schengen area.
- A cover letter from the sending organization/company containing the following details:
- Your name and designation
- An outline of your itinerary, the purpose of visit, names, and addresses of the companies you intend to visit, period and place of the intended stay.
- A signed invitation letter from the company in Iceland containing your name, purpose of visit, dates of the intended stay, nature of costs being covered.
- Two copies of passport photograph (35mm x 45mm) with a white background.
Iceland Student Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to Iceland for studies.
- A completely filed student visa application form
- Proof of registration at the university
- Medical Insurance details
- A secure housing certificate
- Medical certificate (if required)
- Criminal record certificate
- Proof of financial support (i.e Bank statements).
- Original and photocopy of a valid passport.

Iceland Tourist Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa is issued to the Philippines traveling to Iceland for tourism.
- Iceland tourist visa application form printed twice and signed at the end.
- Two passport-size photographs. Make sure your photos comply with the rest of the Schengen visa photo requirements.
- Your valid passport with at least two blank pages, a minimum validity of three more months beyond the date you leave Iceland and issued within the last 10 years.
- A complete travel itinerary for your trip to Iceland. This document must contain your flight name, departure/arrival timings along with with dates, your flight code, and your flight reservation/booking numbers.
- Travel Medical Insurance for your entire stay in Iceland. For any health incident in Iceland and the whole Schengen area, with a minimum coverage of €30,000.
- Proof of employment status.
- Proof of financial means. Bank statements confirming you have a minimum of 145€ per each entry, and around 29€ per each day that you plan to spend in Iceland.
- A cover letter. In this letter, you should introduce yourself, explain the purpose of your trip, as well as the intended duration of your stay in Iceland.
- Proof of accommodation in Iceland. The authorities responsible for issuing Iceland visas want to know where you will be staying during your trip to Iceland.
- A clean criminal track from the police.
- Invitation letter by a host in Iceland. If you plan on staying at a friend or a family owner residing in Iceland, you will need an invitation letter signed by this host.
- Your passport and copies of your previous visas, valid for at least 3 months beyond return date are required.

- Educational qualifications and certificate of experience.
- A resident permit
- Evidence of letter of employment signed by both the employer and employee.
- Travel itinerary.
- A curriculum vitae should be provided.
- A passport that is valid for at least a period of 6 months from the date of submission of the visa application
- A duly filled and signed work visa application form and the fees for the application.
- Payment of visa fee and air ticket.
