- A Hungary tourist visa is a 90 days short-stay visa.
- It grants individuals entry into Hungary for tourism, sight-seeing and other leisure purposes.
- If you are entering the country with an amount of more than 10,000 USD or its equivalent, it must be declared.
- Hungary has a zero-tolerance policy for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Penalties are severe, including significant jail time.

- The host company in Hungary is also required to send an invitation letter. This letter should contain details of the business to be undergone, it should also state who the financier of the trip would be.
- If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided.
- An accommodation reservation that would be valid for the entire trip should be sorted out before applying for the visa.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents is required.
- If the host company will not sponsor the trip, the employer of the applicant can sponsor the trip.
