Hugh Hudson First Wife: Who Is Sue?

Hugh Hudson was an English director who was born on August 25, 1936, and died on February 10, 2023. He was a member of a wave of British directors who started out making television commercials and documentaries before making it big in the movie business.

After spending three years editing documentaries in Paris, Hudson co-founded a documentary film company with partners Robert Brownjohn and David Cammell in the 1960s. The company created a variety of documentaries, including A for Apple, which won a Screenwriters’ Guild Award, and The Tortoise and the Hare, which was nominated for a BAFTA Award.

In the 1960s, the company enjoyed great success, won numerous awards, and created a cutting-edge graphic design for advertisements and documentaries.

Following that, Hudson started working in the advertising sector, creating and directing a number of television commercials. He worked with Ridley, Tony, and Alan Parker for the British film and commercial production company Ridley Scott Associates (RSA), which was founded in 1968. His first acting job was as a second-unit director on Parker’s Midnight Express (1978).
