In both cases, they can upgrade firmware and use both wired and wireless configuration. A Mac user will have to comment. There are many threads on here about it too (via Search).

The Titan Two is NOT cheating. Using a special controller, XIM, or anything else is NOT cheating. People have been using macros and weird input setups on PC since PC gaming was a thing, and it has never been considered cheating and thus it should not on console either.

Other games, like Apex, do NOT support KBM and the XIM is a device that turns KBM output in to fake Controller input, so the console believes it’s receiving controller input.

Yep, its how it worked with the XIM4, it’ll work on the APEX as well. Aim Assist does feel weird at first but it’s really nice once you get used to it with a mouse, talk about op.

Great optimization and well worth the money spent!!! I researched many of these m/kb to console adaptors and by far the XIM APEX has the best reviews, best optimal use and has won my heart.

Both devices work good, xim4 is just slightly smoother. I dont know what ppl want with those sync, ballistic curves, polling settings etc. I just use everything on standard and 1000 hz on Apex and it works exactly as my xim4 in COD. Apex is slightly smoother, other than that it feels absolutely identical to XIM4.

Re: Does Xim 4 still work? XIM 4 hasn’t been abandoned, it’s been superseded by XIM APEX. Despite that, the last FW update for XIM 4 was only a couple of months ago. Game configs are published for XIM 4 as well as XIM APEX, so every game is available on both devices.
Is Xbox going to ban XIM?
Will Xbox Scarlett be able to detect and disable/ban Xim and other mouse and keyboard adapters? Simply blocking them is not enough, since the adapter makers will just come up with a patch to get around the current detection system.

Fortnite is detecting the Xim Apex, and the Xim 4. I always knew it was possible to detect the xim through the movement inputs..on a controller you have full 360 directional movement, but once you introduce a keyboard into the mix, you are limited to 4 directional movement, mikeyfnbrennan’s post confirmed this.

According to ubis tos yes it is because you require 3rd party hardware and software to use a mnk on console siege. You can‘t get them banned. Ubi don’t even see them as cheaters. Cheating is perhaps THE biggest problem in Siege, and has been from the moment it was released.

Some games allow MNK on console. It wouldn’t make sense for the company to penalize MNK users. MNK on console actually emulates the console controller, so Blizzard physically cant tell who is using a MNK. That’s probably the only reason they aren’t banned right now.

No. You cannot be banned for it. Don’t let these people dissuade you from doing what is more affordable for you. Provided you only emulate kb and mouse and don’t use any extra’s there is no real distinct advantage between mk and controller.
