World of Warcraft Mechagon Island is a new zone in Rize of Azshara. To start Mechagon questline complete “Down Into Nazjatar” quest from main Nazjatar story.

You don’t have to do the quest line. You can get summoned there. I have done the dungeon on an alt without doing any prequests.

That aside from what I remember on PTR you’re able to be summoned to mechagon, but you won’t be able to get any quests, and rares and such won’t be marked as that.

No, just like every other Alliance Allied Race you will need a 120 character to do the recruitment scenario.
How do I start the heart Forge quest?
The Heart Forge is unlocked by completing a quest line that is available after opening up the Nazjatar zone. The old quests to increase the Heart item level are no longer available.
Why can’t I enter the heart Forge?
You have to do the intro quest line in Nazjatar to get your first essence quest if I remember correctly. I’m in the same boat as well, switched to horde, did the intro questline, now I have the harnessing the power quest to complete and it won’t let me access the heart forge.
Why can’t I get into heart of Azeroth?
If you are unable to enter the Chamber of Heart (such as with an alt), it could be because you have not completed the intro quest line of Nazjatar.
How do you get the heart of Azeroth at Level 10?
All you need is a max level friend to accompany you into a dungeon, get an Azerite item to drop and trade it to you. After a relog this will trigger the HoA quest where you get the level 50 neck, and since it auto-equips, there you have it, an item level 55 piece as early as level 10!
Does heart of Azeroth have a max level?
The Heart of Azeroth no longer has a level cap. AP Level unlocks a new Minor slot at Level 75 and two new Perseverance slots at Levels 71 and 80. With this, the Heart of Azeroth progression effectively ends at Level 80.
