In Battle for Azeroth, players who wish to respec their traits in pieces of Azerite Armor will need to visit an Azerite Reforger NPC in Kul Tiras or Zuldazar. These traits will only be able to be changed at special vendors in Kul Tiras and Zuldazar.
Can Azerite powers be changed?
Azerite reforgers have been added on Battle for Azeroth Beta, allowing players to reset Azerite traits on individual pieces of Azerite Armor at an increasing gold cost that resets every week.

Yes they do. I’m guessing they will continue to function anywhere as long as you’re not in the Shadowlands zone. I tend to log out in my Garrison a lot and never really tried using Azerite powers there.
Will Azerite gear be useless in Shadowlands?
With the removal of the Corruption System in Shadowlands, the Heart of Darkness Azerite trait will be useless. Azerite Powers and Essences will continue to work, but both will be disabled once you start leveling in the Shadowlands zones when the new expansion goes live.
Does heart of Azeroth go away in Shadowlands?
Heart of Azeroth now has a red warning in the tooltip, informing you that its effects are inactive in areas without abundant Azerite, which means Azerite Powers and Essences will cease to work when you start your journey in the Shadowlands and they won’t work for leveling.

Should I replace Azerite gear?
iirc azerite armor has significantly more primary stat than other gear so replacing it isn’t really a priority, as primary stats are actually pretty strong across the board right now. Azerite gear has a crap ton of main stat. I hear people are keeping it long into Shadowlands because it’s better than anything else.

The Heart of Azeroth no longer has a level cap. AP Level unlocks a new Minor slot at Level 75 and two new Perseverance slots at Levels 71 and 80. With this, the Heart of Azeroth progression effectively ends at Level 80.

There is no level cap. New ranks increase the efficacy of some essences.

Can you still get heart of Azeroth?
To obtain the Heart of Azeroth you must complete the quest A Dying World. If you abandoned the quest line in error, go back to Boralus or Dazar’alor and talk to the Earthen Guardian to help you get back to the Chamber of the Heart.
