‘Video Replies to Comments’ is a special feature added by TikTok so that TikTok stars can communicate with their fans in a more proper manner. The feature simply helps you to reply to anyone’s comment through a new video that will be uploaded directly to your profile. Here is the step by step process of how you can use it yourself.
1. Update Your Application:
The first thing to keep in mind is that TikTok released an update on March 30, 2020, which brought the addition to this new feature of replying to comments with a video. So, the feature only works if your TikTok application is updated. To update, you can go to your Playstore or App Store, and find the TikTok app. Once you found it, click on ‘update’.
2. Open Your TikTok Application and Choose the Desired Comment:
Once you have finished updating, the next step is to open your TikTok account and find the post where you wish to go. Then, go to the comment section and find the comment you want to reply to. Click on the comment and you will enter the reply section.
3. Click on the Red-Colored Video Button on the Left Hand Side:
Once you enter the reply section, the new update has made an addition to the left side of the reply box. There is a rounded red-colored video icon that you can select.
4. Film Your Video:
As soon as you click it, you will be able to make a TikTok video normally like you used to do before. The comment you select will also pop-up there. This shows that you will be replying to that particular person.
5. Edit your video:
Once your video is filmed, you definitely want to edit it. So, edit your video normally like you used to do before. Use effect, texts, stickers, and all those stuffs that will make your video look cool.
6. Post the video:
After completing the meeting part, now you can finally go forward and with no hesitation you can post it. The video you post will have your friend already tagged in there as you are replying to him/her. Also, the video will be posted to your profile.
