How to pronounce thalia grace

I mean, I thought that Thalia was pronounced (Thal-ee-ah), but I learned from the movie that it was actually pronounced (Tal-ee-ah), like Talia.

i’d pronounce talia as ‘tal-ee-uh’ and thalia as ‘thal-ya’. but i’d say if you want the ‘ah’ sound, go with thalia. after reading it over a few times i could hear it as ‘thah-lee-ah’ but talia is just ‘tal-ee-uh’ in my head.

Someone enlighten me? Oh, and “Gaea” is pronounced “JEE-uh” like “Pangaea”, the supercontinent you learn about in school. It’s a Greek term for “all Earth”.
