How do you open Dom Perignon?
How should Dom Perignon be served?
Dom Pérignon and other Champagnes shine at a serving temperature of around 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Open the bottle just before you plan to drink it in order to preserve the bubbles, and serve in traditional Champagne flutes that allow the bubbles to rise and carry the wine’s fragrance to your nose.
Should Dom Perignon be refrigerated?
While Dom Pérignon doesn’t need to be refrigerated, experts have determined that it – and all other champagnes – are at their best when served chilled. Traditionally, Dom Pérignon will be aged in cellars which, while they aren’t refrigerated, are naturally quite cool.
How long does Dom Perignon last in fridge?
It’s OK to store bottles of Dom Pérignon in the fridge for one week to two months, but no longer, and again, only if you can create the optimal conditions — 52 to 59 degrees and 55 to 75 percent humidity in a dark, odorless spot.
