How do you make old fashioned donuts from scratch?
HOW TO MAKE OLD FASHIONED DONUTS
- Add butter, sugar and egg yolks and cream together.
- Mix in sour cream. Mix in baking powder and salt.
- Combine flour and cornstarch, then add to mixture, 1 cup at a time. Continue until all flour is used up. Dough will be sticky.
Do Donuts Have Eggs?
Many of their yeast donuts do not contain eggs. However, most of their cake donuts do contains eggs. In other words, a donut that does not contain eggs as an ingredient may inadvertently contain eggs if it is made in a facility that also produces donuts that contain eggs.
