What is dimpled membrane used for?
SUPERSEAL Dimpled Membrane is a preferred waterproofing system for poured concrete walls. It is a flexible plastic dimpled sheet that is mechanically fastened to a poured foundation wall at final grade height. The dimples in the membrane are 5/16” in height and prevent the backfill material from touching the wall.

How do you use a dimple mat?
When a dimple mat is placed against a concrete wall, the dimples make the plastic stand out from the wall, leaving a free-draining air space between the plastic and the concrete. If any water reaches this air space, it easily flows to the bottom of the dimple mat.

How do I install Platon?
Begin Installation
Platon can be sawn to height while rolled up. Standing the roll on the footing when unrolling Platon is easiest. Excess membrane (if any) may be folded out and cut even with the footing edge. Crease the Platon sharply at the footing/wall corner and lay flat on the footing to prevent pull-down.
