How does a dental chair work?
When a button is pressed on the console, the solenoid valve is operated: it intercepts oil in the pump and sends it to the cylinder. The cylinder enables hydraulic energy to be turned into mechanical energy thus lifting the chair to the desired height. By pushing another button, the second valve opens.
What are the parts of dental chair?
Each chair is formed by a seat, a headrest, a backrest and armrests. The chair can be a standard traditional dental chair or a knea-break chaire (Series 7).
How do you adjust the pressure on a dental chair?
Simply hold down the air or water button on your air/water syringe while adjusting your regulators. Most regulators will be marked with an arrow to indicate how to adjust the pressure.
