As a Youtube content creator, you have to know how to delete videos from your channel.
Maybe you noticed an error in your recently uploaded video, or maybe you just want to clean up your channel and start afresh.
Deleting videos from YouTube is an easy process as you can use the mobile app or a web browser to get the videos deleted in few steps.
Below are the steps on how to delete a video using the website
Step 1: You’ll be able to get through this process super quickly if you’re using the desktop version of YouTube. Go to the homepage of your channel and click on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner and next click on your Channel option from the menu.
Step 2: You’ll be redirected to where all your videos live on your channel. Next, click on the blue YouTube Studio button located towards the top-right corner of your screen, and then click on Videos.
Step 3: Hover around the video title of the video you want to delete. Click on a three dots icon that will appear as a menu and click Delete Forever from the options that pop up.
Below are the steps on how to delete videos using the YouTube app
Step 1: To delete videos using the YouTube android or IOS app, open the app and select the Library from the lower right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Select Your Videos from the options that pop up (it may also appear as My Videos).
Step 3: A list of all your videos will appear on the screen. There will be a menu icon that looks like three dots on the right side of each video. Click the menu icon for the video you want to delete, and finally click on the Delete option from the menu and delete it again to finish.
