How do I cancel Albert and get my money back?
We do not offer refunds if you’re on a monthly Genius plan. If you previously spoke to a support team member about canceling your subscription and you were still charged, we apologize for the error. Please contact Albert support again to complete your cancellation request.
How do I change my account on Albert?
Your account settings can be found under the “My Account” page. It can be accessed by clicking on your username in the top-right corner of any page while logged in: By selecting edit under ‘My Account‘ you will be able to change: Salutation.
Is Albert app safe?
Like most fintech apps, Albert uses bank-level security. You link your accounts to Albert using Plaid, which is a secure bank connection tool that is used by all major banks. Importantly, any money in your Albert savings is kept in an FDIC insured savings account with Albert’s partner banks.
Why is Albert taking money from my account?
If you’re not a Genius customer what may look like a charge is, in fact, a transfer to your Albert Savings account. This is your money, we’re saving it automatically for you (and paying you a bonus on your Savings balance!).
Is Albert trustworthy?
The money is safe: Any money in Albert savings is held in FDIC-insured banks, which offers peace of mind. The company doesn’t specify which banks it uses but each customer is insured up to $250,000.

Is Albert or mint better?
Albert’s UX/UI overwhelmingly beats Mint’s. Also, Mint allows you to create budgets for a category each month but to be honest, I can’t really stick to a concrete category based budget. One month, I might need to buy a new pair of shoes and spend more on shopping while on another, I won’t spend any money on clothes.
