Do realms get deleted?
You can export your maps from any versions of Realms at any time within an 18-month period after your subscription has expired. Once your subscription has been inactive for more than 18 months, your world will be permanently deleted from Minecraft’s servers.

No, there’s no way to detect it, but there are anti-xray plugins that disguise unsurfaced ores (Ores not visible normally/behind/under other blocks) as regular stone.
Can Minecraft servers detect resource packs?
In vanilla there is no way to detect what resource pack a player is using, and unfortunately you won’t have anti cheat plugins available to you. Assuming you’re the server op, your best chance is to use spectator mode to observe them mining. You can also take advantage of a variety of anti cheat plugins.
