How long does a seller have to respond on offer up?
Respond to messages as soon as you can. Great buyers and sellers typically respond within an hour, and sometimes within seconds. We encourage you to respond quickly and ask follow-up questions to show engagement.
Why don’t my messages send on OfferUp?
Log out of your account, then log back in and try your action again. Restart your device. Switch between your wireless internet and cellular data, in case the problem is related to your connection. Uninstall and reinstall the app to make sure you’re using the most recent version.
Can you get banned from OfferUp?
You can be banned from OfferUp temporarily or permanently based on the violations that you commit. Not only that, if you use your banned account on someone else’s phone or a new phone, OfferUp will automatically ban that device too.
How do you know if someone blocked you on OfferUp?
If you‘re blocked, it will say there was an error sending a message when you try to send it. He’s simply not opening the chat.
What happens when you get blocked on OfferUp?

Can you renew an item on OfferUp?
Tap Selling, then tap the item you want to edit. From the Item Dashboard, tap Edit post. You‘ll go through the posting flow again and can edit at any step of the process. Tap Save at the end of the flow and the item will be updated.
