Can a cashmere sweater be washed?
Wash your cashmere the right way
Fill a clean sink or basin with lukewarm water (never hot water). Add no-rinse detergent or baby shampoo to the water. Do not place your sweater under running water because doing so can damage the fabric. If you use Soak, there’s no need to rinse.
Can you put Cashmere in the washing machine?
Yes! You can hand wash cashmere, and wash designated machine-washable cashmere in your washing machine.

The first trick to keeping cashmere looking new is to always wash and dry it correctly. Improper washing and drying can result in fading, stretching, shrinking, or other issues that will damage the delicate fabric.
How do you care for cashmere sweaters?
We recommend to hand wash or professionally dry clean all of your cashmere sweaters, due to the fine nature of the fibre. Turn your garments inside out and hand wash using warm water (no more than 40 degrees) and a delicate detergent.
