How to clean basketball shoes

DO NOT use a washing machine or dryer. It will cause damage. DO NOT place shoes next to vents or heaters or use a hair dryer. High heat warps rubber.

We don’t recommend putting your shoes in a washing machine or dryer or using harsh cleaning products (like bleach). And for best results, clean your sneakers as soon as they get dirty.

Air out the insoles: Remove the insoles of your basketball shoes to air them out. This will keep them smelling fresh. If your shoes continue to smell, wash and dry them with the same steps above. Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda on the insoles when they’re dry to help soak up the smell.

It is absolutely fine to wear basketball shoes for casual purpose. They look very cool and are very comfortable too.

Whether it’s a high or low top Jordan, you can decide to wear it with jeans, casual dresses, and shorts. If you want the color of your shoes to pop, wear a darker pair of jeans. For a more tailored effect, tuck your jeans slightly into your shoes. Plus, you should avoid wearing your basketball shoes with formal wear.

Absolutely! You don’t have to play basketball to wear Jordan’s. Most of the Jordan’s aren’t built for basketball but than again there are some pairs that are designed to play in.

Performance of the Nike Lebron 17:

A huge Max Air unit in the heel is combined with Zoom in the forefoot and they provide a ton of impact protection and bounce. Overall, the Lebron 17 is a great performer, especially you are a heavier player looking for a comfortable and supportive shoe.

The LeBron 16 has a stiffer overall setup that still provides serious impact protection but feels quicker and smoother from the jump. The cushioning is a little more responsive and less bouncy than the cushioning of the Lebron 15. This setup works a lot better for guards like me.

Fit of the Nike Lebron 17 Low:

This is probably the hardest shoe to put on I’ve ever tested. I felt a little pinching pain on the lateral side of the forefoot. Other than that, the fit is really tight and your feet are very well-contained.

If you go through a period of time when your new Lebron 15 shoes feel a little tight or stiff, it’s perfectly normal. They just need a little time to get broken in. With use, they will limber up and become a lot more comfortable.

It does warm up and flex to the foot, but it will not stretch, so if you are a wide footer, well, first you have to get your foot into the shoe.

Drew: The Nike LeBron 18 is my favorite basketball shoe of 2020. The cushioning is amazing, the comfort and lockdown were great, and I’m not fast enough to notice any support issues. The only issue for me was the stiff, annoying tongue. Fix that in a future colorway and I’ll buy another pair.

The Lebron 18 fits true to size, but the Batleknit materials take a little to break-in. The support is the low point of the shoe as reviewers had issues with lateral stability and containment due to the soft and high-off-the ground outsole.
