How do I become a better home cook?
Here’s what I wish I’d known all along:
- Always start with onions.
- “Don’t be shy with the salt.” Those are exact words from a cooking instructor during my first cooking lesson in Tuscany.
- Add flavor all the time.
- Roast everything.
- Never cook cold meat.
- Splurge for the real deal.
How can I make good cooking?
Cook all your meals.
This will help you master your favorite dishes, but it will also inspire you to create new flavors. Cook meals in large quantities to eat leftovers at work. Cooking all meals takes planning and will power, but you will learn by cooking a lot!
