After reaching the maximum height of violence in Afghanistan, Major General Hank Taylor has announced the Kabul airport is being re-opened.

With the Taliban completely controlling the major Afghani cities, the Kabul airport was closed for hours following a breakdown in security which interrupted the evacuation operations.
Now after several hours of shutting down the airport, General Hank Taylor spoke on the Pentagon revealing the airport has been re-opened on early Tuesday at the Afghani time.
Adding to his statement, Taylor noted that C-17 transport aircraft landed on the U.S Marines abroad and the army unit is set to land on the Afghan airport to help the security.
Taylor said that additional 500 to 1000 armies will be deployed on the ground of Afghanistan to help the evacuation process.
Meanwhile, when asked about the aircraft and military equipment falling into the hands of the Taliban, the logistics specialist remained tight-lipped.
