Jean Yves Bouvier had a close companionship with wife Catherine Deneuve for more than 20 years.
The funeral for Jean was held in the Church of Notre-Dame d’Auteuil on May 19th after a week of him taking his last breath.
At his funeral, Catherine came with her daughter Chiara Mastroianni and her ex-son-in-law Benjamin Biolay and other famous names such as Valérie Lemercier, Pierre Lescure and Patrice Laffont were also present.
He was loved and cared for by most of his friends and almost all of them showed up at his funeral to mourn for him.
The exact cause of death of the actor is not revealed by the family members. It can be assumed that he died of natural causes.
