Lilian Nganga Mutua, aged 36, has announced her separation from the Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua.
Lilian Nganga Mutua is known to be a Kenyan philanthropist and a former first lady of Machakos County.
However, the first lady Ms. Lilian Nganga Mutua has stepped down from her position as she has announced to be separated from Alfred Mutua.
The former couples were reported to live as husband and wife for nearly five years.
But, their relationship saw an end after five years as Ms. Lilian confirmed the news via Instagram.
Later, the governor also took his picture-sharing platform to provide an insight into their relationship.
Dr. Mutua shared his well-wishers that he and Lilian have been separated for 2 months but also revealed that she will be a close advisor for him.
Likewise, the former first lady has also revealed that the two will remain friends and is grateful to have found Alfred.

The former first lady was an alumna of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) as she earned her Master of Science Degree in Project Management.
Alfred and Lilian got to know each other in 2011 when the doctor was in a marital relationship with his former wife Josephine Thitu Maundu.
Maundu and Mutua ended their 15-year marriage in 2015 although they were a parent of 3 children.
The governor’s former wife Josephine has not provided her details on the media but Lilian has established herself as a philanthropist.
She is actively involved in the cancer awareness program. The former first lady was awarded the 2015/2016 Cancer Champion Award by HELD Sisters Foundation.
Further, she was also nominated as the Cancer Brand Ambassador of the year by Eddah’s Hope Cancer Foundation.
The former couple has not revealed the reason behind their divorce as of now.
