Thomas Westerman “Tom” Wolf (born November 17, 1948) is an American businessman and politician who is set to become Governor of Pennsylvania in January 2015. In the 2014 gubernatorial race, he defeated Republican incumbent Tom Corbett. From April 2007 to November 2008, Wolf was the secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. Wolf is the chairman of The Wolf Organization Inc., a building-products company specialising in kitchen cabinets that he founded with his family. He resigned as CEO in December 2013 to concentrate on his gubernatorial candidacy. Wolf said after his election as Governor that he would leave the board entirely on December 31, 2014.
