Geoff’s younger brother, George, was already cast in a recurring role as Mary Camden’s love interest, Ben Kinkirk, in the show 7th Heaven when George went in for an audition. Although George first auditioned for the part of a youngster who coerces others into drinking, he was eventually cast in the role of Ben’s elder brother, Kevin. In 7th Heaven, Stults was a regular cast member from season 6 until the show’s conclusion in season 11. In 2001, George appeared as the boyfriend of Jessica Lockhart’s daughter in an episode of Friends from season 7, titled “The One With Joey’s New Brain.” The actor had previously featured in the show Everybody Loves Raymond, albeit in a far less prominent role.

Randy Travis’ music video for “Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man” features him as a boy with wisdom. He featured in ads for K-Mart with a slew of other WB stars (2004). He was awarded a wrestling scholarship to the University of Southern Colorado, but he decided to move to Whittier College in his junior year in order to be closer to his younger brother.
