Following the use of a nutritional supplement bearing his name and recommendation, Null and six other customers were hospitalised for vitamin D overdose in 2010, according to Null’s account. Null filed a lawsuit against a contractor engaged in the product’s production, claiming that each pill contained more than 1,000 times the amount of vitamin D stated on the label of the product.
