How Much Money Does Dan Baird Make? Latest Dan Baird Net Worth Income Salary

Originally from San Diego, California, Daniel John “Dan” Baird was born on December 12, 1953, and is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. Among his many musical accomplishments are his roles as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the chart-topping 80s rock group The Georgia Satellites. Baird founded the band The Georgia Satellites in 1980 and left the group in 1990 to pursue a solo recording career.

As a pioneer in Cowpunk and Alt-Country music, which mixes aspects of rock with country music as well as outlaw country and punk rock, he is often cited as an inspiration. In addition to his solo work, Baird performs and records with his band Homemade Sin, which includes three former Georgia Satellites members, including bassist Keith Christopher and drummer Mauro Magellan. Homemade Sin is also comprised of guitarist Warner E. Hodges, who has performed and recorded with Jason & the Scorchers in the past.

A combination of Baird’s solo work, as well as classics and fan favourites from his time with The Georgia Satellites, are included in Homemade Sin’s set list. Baird uses a vintage setup that is quite close to the one he used when he was a member of The Georgia Satellites to create a classic tube amplifier sound on Homemade Sin. According to some admirers, the Georgia Satellites have been reunited, with the original guitarist Rick Richards and bassist Rick Price, who joined the group to replace original bassist Keith Christopher, who departed the band before to its popularity, causing consternation.
