How Much Is Allegra Stratton Salary? She is serving as Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s spokesman on the Cop26 climate change summit.

Plans for White House-style Television briefings in a £2.6 million Downing Street hub have been scrapped when Allegra Stratton, the staffer designated to host them, was reassigned to become Boris Johnson’s spokesman on the Cop26 climate change summit.

Allegra Stratton is a former British political adviser, writer, and journalist who served as Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Downing Street Press Secretary from November 2020 until April 2021.

She was just selected as the spokeswoman for COP26 by President Alok Sharma in April 2021.

People are curious to learn about the salary of the spokeswoman. Don’t worry; we’ve covered everything about her on here.

How Much Is Allegra Stratton Salary? Her Net Worth Explored

Last year, Allegra Stratton was appointed as the Government’s spokeswoman for planned televised briefings on a £125,000 salary, but the Prime Minister changed his mind, and the project was scrapped.

The 41-year-old former BBC and ITV News anchor will now focus on the COP26 climate change summit, reporting directly to the Prime Minister.

Her new salary is unknown; however, she was appointed to government spokeswoman with an annual salary of around £100,000.

Allegra Stratton’s net worth in 2021 is estimated to be between $1 million and $5 million (Approx.)

Downing Street spent £2.6 million on a television briefing room that has only been used for private film screenings.

According to a former Conservative cabinet minister, the Government “obviously had not thought through the idea of hiring a spokesman to undertake on-camera briefings,” and the climate role was “inevitably temporary.”

The briefings were supposed to start in October, shortly after Johnson recruited Stratton from Rishi Sunak’s head of communications. Still, they were frequently postponed owing to the coronavirus outbreak.
