Leonard Fournette Weight Gain Rumors And Health Update
Leonard Fournette may have put on a few pounds in the last year or so, but the star running back suggested on Monday that recent talk about his weight gain was greatly exaggerated.
Last week, reporter Rick Stroud stated on his podcast that Buccaneers coaches were dissatisfied with Leonard’s appearance at minicamp. Fournette is said to weigh around 260 pounds, which is enormous for a back.
Last year, Leonard weighed 228 pounds. He responded on Twitter after Pro Football Focus pointed it out. He quickly deleted the tweet, but TMZ captured it on a screenshot.
He wrote, “No, I weighed 245 y’all say anything.”
