She has played basketball with the Australian Institute of Sport and Adelaide Lightning in Australia’s WNBL. Additionally, she played with the Connecticut Sun, Indiana Fever, Phoenix Mercury, Los Angeles Sparks, and Dallas Wings in the WNBA in the United States. Moreover, she also played professionally for Israeli and Polish club clubs in Europe.

After several years of dating, they tied the knot in the United States in November 2017 and have since been together. Erin and her wife are the perfect examples of a loving same-sex relationship. They married even before Australia’s marriage equality law was approved.

Greg Phillips is a talented Australian rules football defender who spent the majority of his career with the Port Adelaide Football Club of the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). He worked there as a captain for three years, was an eight-time premiership player, and then his daughter was known as the club’s all-time Greatest Team in 2000.
Shaun Burgoyne, a former Port Adelaide, and current Hawthorn footballer is her brother-in-law. She grew up with her two older sisters, Rachel and Amy in Adelaide.
